The food, service and atmosphere was so good here. We were pampered from the moment we walked it! It was my birthday so the decorated the table with a birthday greeting and sprinkles on the table. Nice touch! Our server (Ray) was a delight! He was happy to serve us and was very friendly! Food was delicious! Instead of an entree, we decided shared appetizers (calamari & lobster tacos) with our own lobster bisque. We also shared a Burrata and Beet Salad as our starter. I think we could have done without it. It was good but not great. Would have ordered another appetizer instead.
Filet Mignon was delicious, tender and well seasoned. Salad was superb! Potatoes were "au gratiny," lol! The chocolate dessert, I couldn't even finish it was so rich!!!
We just had our anniversary celebration at Eddie Vs and it was perfect. We felt so special from beginning to end. The food was delicious and plentiful- the drinks yummy. We highly recommend this establishment above any other steak / seafood choice in DFW.
Hair in the side dishes. It definitely is not like any other Eddie V's I have been a patron. The waiter was fabulous. We have been back once since then and sat in the bar area for dinner. No hair this time.
5 star for service. Our waiter, Pepe, was amazing! He was friendly, respectful, and patient with our large party. He was attentive throughout the dinner. We were celebrating our birthdays so they set our table up with some confetti and a card which was sweet. Of all the things we ordered, most were a huge it. We loved the oysters, calamari (fan favorite), crab cake, truffle mac n cheese, and all the proteins were cooked to perfection. The harissa carrots were good but lacked the harissa flavor. The lobster bisque was flavorful but a bit thin for a bisque. The lobster mashed potatoes, while it had nice chunks of lobster, was gummy in texture. Over all a good experience and great place to celebrate something, or have a date night.
This was our first visit to Eddie V's, but not the last! So nice to have a five star experience in the burbs. The wonderful service set the tone for a lovely evening with delicious food and a classy atmosphere. We were running 15 minutes late on a rainy Friday evening. I called to ensure they could hold our reservation and they were super accommodating. Our server was outstanding! I believe his name is Tony, but definitely a pro! His timing was perfect the entire evening with exactly what we needed, but never around too much. Tony is top tier! The food was delicious and everything was prepared so well! We had the wedge salad, Chilean sea bass, redfish, crab fried rice, and mashed potatoes. The Chilean sea bass was the star of the show! It was prepared very simply, which is the best way. It was so fresh and tasted soooo good. The redfish was a special for the night, it was Cajun style which many times can be overbearing, but this dish was seasoned perfectly, just enough to compliment the redfish. The crab fried rice was done very well too with plenty of crab meat. On to dessert! All desserts are made in house, so we couldn't resist. We ordered the warm Belgian chocolate cake, which was devine. We considered ordering the banana foster butter cake, but didn't. So, our amazing server bought us a complimentary sample of it! Both desserts were equally fantastic. Highly recommend Eddie V's! We'll be back for sure!
I love love love Eddie vs this new location once again provides excellent customer service . I'm so happy each time I come . The bartender Jamie was so kind and made the best drinks . I advise you to come on a Friday evening or even Thursday for happy hour . Live music is so beautiful. Shout out to mahogany the vocalist on Thursdays The Mac n cheese is always my go too and always exceptional tasteful . The happy hour filet burgers are divine !!! Two will fill you up . The spicy margarita is so good . I personally can't do spicy - so I made it regular . I'll be back soon for course again .
Eddie V's always delivers. This location is no exception. Our wait staff was excellent and made sure to take care of us at every turn. The Calamari appetizer was phenomenal and can easily serve 4 people. For dinner I started with the Heirloom Burrata Salad and it too was exceptional, as the Burrata was so soft and creamy! For the main course I tried the 2 oz Filet Medallions with Tempura Lobster. While the steaks were cooked perfectly I wasn't too keen on the lobster, as the tempura overpowered the flavor of the lobster. Next time I'll just stick with the lobster tail. Other than that, it was a great dining experience.
